Everyone felt fine with food & wine at Fuller Gardens’ Annual Garden Party!

By on July 16, 2016

Fuller 1We ventured to the seacoast Wednesday, July 13, 2016 to attend the Annual Garden Party at Fuller Gardens located in North Hampton, NH.  It was a great evening for the event!

As you entered through the gates, the rose garden was in full bloom with artists stationed in various areas painting a new art piece.  There were a few people milling about the gardens while taking in the beauty.

As we strolled through to the bushes, we entered into the maiFuller 3n party location in front of the garage.  People were enjoying themselves listening to the wonderful jazz band with a beer from Smuttynose Brewing or glass of wine in hand and chatting happily.  A table was set up with cheeses & crackers from C’est Cheese and staff were walking around with a variety of hors d’oeuvres.  I must say that the Truffle Cheddar cheese from C’est Cheese was delicious!  The music was being played at the perfect level so conversations could be had without needing to scream in order to hear each other speak.  The band was very good, and one song that I recall being played was Jimi Hendrix “All Along the Watchtower”.

Fuller 2This was our first time attending this event, and we were uncertain what to wear when attending a garden party.  People were dressed in all types of dress.  Some of the ladies were dressed in pretty summer dresses with hats which was the perfect attire for such an event.  Some folks were dressed very casually, so there is no need to feel like you don’t have just ‘that perfect outfit’ for such a night.

It felt very welcoming as the speakers announced two of the attendees’ birthdays.  One of the birthdays announced was for a woman who just turned 90!

The night ended beautifully as we drove home to Nashua enjoying the colorful sky as the sun was setting.
